Are we there yet??

On Saturday, Laura, Tim and I wanted to go find a plant market that we had heard about, and Laura had seen it a few days before when we were taxing back from Shi Yi. We got directions from a vetern and took off on our bikes. We rode down 4th ring road and we rode and we rode and we rode. Thankfully it was a beautiful day with blue skies. It was pretty chilly b/c it was really windy, but a nice day to be outside. As we were riding we decided to call a vetern b/c we felt like we should have been there by now. They gave us some advice and then we kept going. Finally we saw this big wavy tower that we know and realized we had gone too far. So we called our leader and we found out we went the wrong direction on 4th ring road. We rode over an hour in the wrong direction, and the sad part was we had to ride back into the wind for over an hour. 4th ring road is an 8 lane highway so it was kind of crowded and there were lots of hills, but after it was all done and we made it back I really enjoyed spending the day outside in the sunshine! It was quite the workout, and the next day I was in a taxi coming home and saw the big wavy building that we rode to and on the other side of it was the birds nest, which means we rode our bikes all the way to the olympic park. We never did find the plant market, we gave up after riding home in the wind!
